Adarshini Organic Farm ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable Indian data protection laws.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and phone number to create and manage your account.
Order & Delivery Information
We collect your delivery address (including Google Plus Code), order history, and payment references to fulfil your orders.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details, UPI IDs, or banking credentials. We only retain the Razorpay order/payment reference for refund and reconciliation purposes.
Device & Usage Data
We collect push notification subscription tokens to send order updates. We may collect basic analytics (page views, errors) via Sentry to improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
Order Fulfilment
Your name, phone, and address are shared with our farm owners and delivery partners solely to fulfil your order.
Notifications
We send push notifications and emails for order confirmations, status updates, and new produce availability. You can disable push notifications from your device settings at any time.
Loyalty & Referrals
We use your order history to calculate loyalty points and track referral rewards.
No Third-Party Marketing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
Storage
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers with encryption at rest. We use Vercel for hosting with HTTPS enforced on all connections.
Retention
Order records are retained for 7 years for accounting purposes under Indian law. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
Security
Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel. Admin and farm portal access requires verified authentication.
4. Your Rights
Access & Correction
You can update your name, phone, and delivery address at any time from your Profile page.
Deletion
You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Opt-out
You may opt out of push notifications from your device settings. You may opt out of email notifications by contacting us.
5. Cookies
Session Management
We use browser localStorage to maintain your login session and shopping cart. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
